  The version would depend on the economic benefits derived out of using various modules, the departments a customer wishes to automate and the number of workstations that need to be deployed.
   
6. How to Buy PALASH™?
  SHS makes it very simple for their customer to purchase PALASH™. The customer first of all needs to understand the range of products that are available with SHS and narrow their search to those systems that have features and performance consistent with local requirements. Based on these requirements a cost estimate will be presented to the customer. The purchase order is raised.
   
7. Can an existing system module be integrated with PALASH™?
  Yes it can be done but only after a proper understanding of the software. SHS can custom build a synchronization feature to fit into the particular module. This will allow the customer to keep the existing software module active without actually having to migrate to a new system.
   
8. How to view the product demo of PALASH™?

3. What Maintenance and support services are offered by SHS?

4. What are the services in terms of training offered by SHS?
  In Person training:
  This training is for all the key / master users & given by our implementation & support engineers in person, module wise & a proper hand holding is done till the key users gets an confidence to use our software solution independently without any supervision.
  Batch wise training:
 
This is also called as conference training which is conducted in batches either department or functionality wise. During this training the audience could be key users or any front level operations from the client side.
During the batch training normally all the queries/ doubts of all the users of the related departments is answered apart for the main modules or functionality training to them.
A separate session is arranged for the administrators / EDP / IT Managers & network & system administrators.
  Possible Key users include:

About Security
 
1. How secure is PALASH™?
  The data will be on the Customer’s server and will also contain password authentication, and is as secure as any other client server application on the market today!
   
2. What is the software warranty period and the services covered?
 
Default warranty period is 5 Years
Services covered under warranty are:
  – Telephone Support - Support via phone and facsimile
  – Website Support - SHS will provide PCMC with access to its website support section
  – Email Support
  – On site Support
  – Error corrections
   
3. How does SHS ensure client confidentiality?
  SHS is committed to the security and confidentiality of the information that the client shares with us. SHS gives its clients a safe working experience with maximum benefits.
  To ensure confidentiality of information, we encourage our customers to sign in a confidential Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) at the very initial stages of project discussion. This NDA has legal binding and is an important document which ensures the total security of your information in our hands.
   
4. How does SHS ensure that the information with the customer remains private and secure?
  SHS will have authorized access only to the information necessary to perform their role in supporting the customer. What will be different is that they will have timely access to all relevant aspects of your health history, no matter where you are treated in the province.
  Everyone who will be using the computer system will be assigned a user name and password, and will be provided the appropriate level of access according to their role in care delivery. All users of the system are required to take privacy training that reinforces appropriate use of the system.
   
5. Will the customer’s information be sold, or used for any other purpose by SHS?
  The information from hospital - with identifying information removed - may be used to support research and health care planning. For example, the information may indicate how many people were hospitalized, but it wouldn't include the names of patients who had been hospitalized. Identifiable information will not be sold.

About Agreements
 
1. What service level agreements do you offer?
  Before the commencement of the project, an agreement is signed regarding details of the responsibilities of each party, the deliverables, pricing, complaint handling mechanisms and delivery schedule of the project.
   
2. What would happen if the timescale was over/under estimated? What flexibility does SHS offer?
  We first develop a Project Plan with a projected effort and agenda according to the specified requirements. Moreover, what matters the most is how well the application aligns to your business and brings you success. To meet this objective we shall propose to discuss and review with you both the estimate and the schedule of the project.
   
3. If I am dissatisfied with the programmer(s)/service/outcome, how are my interests protected?
  The termination clauses are mentioned in the contract. However, we try to prevent the advent of any such situation by providing you clear problem escalation routes. You may also bring any issue to the notice of the Operations Manager and/or the CEO for compensation and an appropriate solution will be provided.
   
4. What happens if I am unhappy with the progress/ability of the employee working on the project?
  We will be directly responsible for the team which is working for you. If you are dissatisfied with the output of the employee(s), we can either modify the process or provide you with a suitable replacement.
