The patient gets an appointment with the respective doctor on phone or in person. |

The system displays and books appropriate time slots for all the services applicable for particular type of patient considering execution nature and time frame availability and maximum waiting time between two services which is preconfigured. |

The personal & clinical details of the patient are recorded. Also appointment can be confirmed on the same screen. |

Registration |

Patient registration is the prime task in the system. It will record personal information, contact details, details of patient’s relative / guardian, reference details and other details like advertisement type, contact to clinic via and remark. |

Visit Marking |

This is an actual phenomenon where patient is physically present and will be marked as ‘visited’. |

A special category can be assigned to patient like VIP, Emergency and Walk-in so that the patient will be given special attention. |

At the time of visit marking Payment mode will also be recorded. |

EMR |

Electronic Medical Record (Case Paper): It is a visit wise maintained medical record of a patient. |

It includes general ophthalmology records, test records, surgical records, and medication records and follows up records in specified format. (All Details of the fields included in EMR are attached with this SRS) |

OT |

In OT module consents, pre-operative instructions and post-operative instructions can be assigned to particular patient. |

Console |

In patient console, patient queue will be filled which can be differentiated as completed and pending patients. Also all the services assigned to patient with registration, billing, referrals and patient feedback will be listed under patient. |

Document Generation |

In document generation two types of documents are included i.e. letters and certificate. Letters again can be of two types i.e. thanking and referring. |

Patient Feedback/Complaint |

In Patient feedback, opinions of patient can be recorded. |

If patient has any complaint against any staff member or facilities provided then those can be recorded in Patient Complaint. |

Billing |

Billing module includes all monetary transactions. |
 |
Collection of advance, addition of charges to patient record, bill generation, collection of payment, giving concession, Bill Settlement, Refund of advance taken from patient, Refund of different types of bills if any, sponsor verification etc are included in this module. |

Nursing Station |
| |
 |
Doctor Request can be added in this module. Also housekeeping, scheduling and tracking by supervisor or employee can be done. Emergency instructions can also be added and printed. Maintenance scheduling and tracking by supervisor or employee can be done. |

Inventory |

There is Quotation entry to have comparison for an item on basis of cost and delivery period. |

New Purchase Order can be created and printed. |
 |
Stock will be added automatically by Goods Receipt Note (GRN) entry. |
 |
On checking the available stock, ‘Requisition’ is placed for the item whose quantity is below re-order level. |

Issue to department and return from department transactions handle the stock transfer process from Store to Department & vice versa. Material consumption can be recorded date wise. |

Items issued to patients are entered in issue to patient form. |
 |
For return to supplier there is GRN return. |
 |
Breakage can be entered through scrap. Stock adjustment is further included for stock balancing. |

Opening stock will be updated through opening balance. |

Administration |

Administration module comprises of all tasks related to management of the installed system. It comprises of the transactions that enable the user to take the backup and restore the previously taken backup. |

User rights are defined in this module, User Templates are created and hence those templates are assigned to every individual user according to their work profiles. |

Login passwords can be changed for currently logged in user. |
 |
Configuration transaction is the one where user has to adjust all basic settings for the system to execute as per the organization’s norms. |

Printer settings are adjusted here for big as well as small printer. |
 |
Bill deletion and deletion of its corresponding charges is done here. |

Tally interface also will be in this module only. |

User can enter clinic time table here so that start and end times will be configured. Doctor unavailability can be entered so that appointments cannot be marked. |

In Prelasik Blocking user can enter doctor wise, Month wise, Day wise time slots for Prelasik appointment type, so that those slots will not be used for other appointment types. |

In Patient complaint tracking module, information of complaint, diagnosis, actions taken and follow-ups can be recorded. |

In Post-operative care survey and Customer survey data will be recorded to generate various statistical information reports. |
