Features
 
The functioning of the software for Dental Clinical Management follows the following processes:
Registration
  Patient registration is the primary task involved in the system. Once a patient is registered then he will undergo further clinical procedure.
Pre-consultation
  After making registration patient has to undergo pre-consultation procedure where his/her complaints and findings are recorded by Oral Medicine and Radiology department.
  The pre-consultation is of different types and it is as per the disease. Each pre-consultation is unique with some general fields. Also each pre-consultation has image processing.
Consultation
  After completion of pre-consultation, patient is referred to the respective department. Here in the respective department, the doctor / student makes diagnosis, write investigations, suggest treatment plans, and give prescription. Also sometimes the doctor gives treatment advice to patient or refers the patient to other department. If there is some treatment advice then patient has to take separate appointment if needed. Finally the case paper will be prepared by the doctor / student.
Billing
  The Billing module includes all transactions that deal with money. Collection of advance money, addition of charges to patient record, bill generation, collection of payment, giving concession, Bill settlement, refund of advance taken from patient, refund of different types of bills if any and cheque clearing too.
Administration
  Administration module comprises of all tasks related to management of the installed system. It consists of the transactions that enable the user to take the backup and restore the previously taken backup. User rights are defined in this module, User templates are created and hence those templates are assigned to every individual user according to their work profiles. Login passwords can be changed for currently logged in user. Configuration transaction is the one where user has to adjust all basic settings for the system to execute as per the organizations norms. Bill deletion and deletion of its corresponding charges is done here.
Reports
  The system can generate various MIS report. Report module consists of all sorts of reports that are generated to retrieve required data. Reports includes: - General reports, Patient report, daily report, treatment wise and diagnosis wise report. Filter for report should be very flexible.
Time and motion analysis
  This module is useful for analysis of time gap between Patient Registration and Payment, Payment and Pre-consultation, Pre-consultation and Consultation, Procedure Registration and Procedure etc.
 
Dental College Management
The Patient is referred to respective department based on the diagnosis done in pre-consultation. Patient information is shared across all departments. Each department has their own case sheets consisting of medical history, diagnosis, treatment plans etc.
The functioning of the software for Dental College Management follows the following processes:
Admission management
  Student application form can be entered and managed. The status of a student can be changed once admitted. From a student's application, all relevant details such as student's pre college marks, extra curricular activities details can be obtained.
Student management
  Student's personal information such as password, address, qualification, extracurricular activities etc., can be maintained. Student's ID card can be generated; attendance of students (hourly/daily) can be managed. Students’ internal assessment, records of remarks and warnings can be maintained and the respective teachers can access that. Student's performance reports, depicting his/her performance for the current semester and attendance records etc. can be generated
Staff management
  Staff personal information, extra curricular activities, additional qualification can be entered and managed. Staff ID card can be generated. Attendance of staff can be maintained on daily/hourly basis. Leave application interface enables the staff to apply for leave through application and get the approval from the concerned authority.
Library management
  A complete list of the books that are available with the library can be stored and efficiently managed. Transactions such as issuing and returning of book can be easily managed. Penalty can be entered for delayed return and these details will be accessible by accounts department. There is a search facility to know the availability of books facilitating easy location and lending.
Inventory
  Inventory is the list of all items that are listed in the stock. Inventory transactions start with opening balance of any item after which comes the ‘Requisition’. On checking the available stock, requisition is placed for the item that is falling below re-order level. The respective departments handle the stock transfer i.e. give and take from Store to Department & vice versa. Similar to the department there are transactions for the store. For store, the material is issued to store from the main store & for return it’s vice versa. Before placing a Purchase Order, an Indent needs to be created, only then the Purchase Order can be generated. To change a particular purchase order, ‘Purchase Order Amendment’ transaction facility is made available.

Examination management
  With this module, the timetable for the examinations can be prepared. A student can apply for the exam using the exam application form. Hall tickets can be generated for all students with their photograph printed. The hassle in the process of setting question paper and paper evaluation can be managed using this module. Mark sheets can be generated for all the students and results can be published.
